TWO SENIOR EXECUTIVES APPOINTED AT NEWSPAPER
NATIONAL NEWORK
MARY ELLEN HOLDEN NAMED SVP MARKETING
JERRY FRAGETTI NAMED SVP MEDIA AND OPERATIONS
New York -- Mary Ellen Holden, 46, has been named Senior Vice President of Marketing and Jerry Fragetti, 54, has been named Senior Vice President of Media and Operations for the Newspaper National Network, LP, Jason E. Klein, NNN President and CEO announced today.
"I'm thrilled to add two media industry veterans to NNN's senior executive team," said Klein. Both positions are new.
Mary Ellen Holden is a cable industry veteran whose experience included positions as Senior Vice President of Marketing at USA Network, Vice President of Marketing at MSNBC, and Vice President, Consumer Products/New Business Promotions at Nickelodeon. Most recently, Mary Ellen has been consulting for Discovery Networks on strategic media partnerships.
"Mary Ellen brings an exceptional marketing background to the NNN, particularly in cable network marketing," said Klein. "Her immediate assignment will be to take the reigns for NNN's relaunch beginning in October."
"This is a great opportunity to expand the market presence of NNN and help continue its exceptional sales growth," said Holden.
Holden graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies from Hobart/William Smith College and a master's degree in Human Resources Management from Columbia University.
Jerry Fragetti has 25 years of experience at News Corporation where his roles included Executive Vice President of New America's FSI Division, CFO of the New York Post, and CFO and General Manager positions with Murdoch Magazines and News America's In-Store Division. He was also COO/CFO at Talk Magazine and COO at Internet Tradeline. Fragetti's responsibilities include NNN's newspaper relations, media operations, and strategic alliances.
